Bill Johnson says this, "He who cannot see the ultimate will becomes a slave to the immediate."
The Saturday that had just gone by, the gist of my message centered on this - to live a life without compromise, focusing on what is ahead of us. To sow into everlasting purposes, to know our ultimate destiny and never lose sight of it.
We are called to be SO MUCH MORE than just leading ordinary, mundane lives; going through the same route and path daily.
We have been created to be a part of a greater plan, for His cause. Jesus Christ is YOUR cause. That is all the security you need, that is ALL the REASON you need.
I pray that as you're reading this, you would not lose sight on your heavenly reward. More important, you would not lose sight of Christ's mandate and destiny for your life.
He has never left you, He is leading you on right now and He is on the grand stands of the arena, cheering you on.
The best life lived is to lose our grip and clutch on what we think life should be, and seek to do HIS will for our lives. "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life FOR ME, will find it." (Matthew 16:25, emphasis added)
Love you,
Mel.
